Hillside Houses

It's another rainy day here in southeast Texas, so setting aside all the things I need to be doing,  I have jumped on the Hillside Houses quilt along wagon to sew a mini version of the Hillside Houses by Pretty Little Quilts.

It is tedious cutting and sewing but so exciting to see them finish. The little blocks are supposed to finish at 5-1/2 inches (before sewn together.) I really need to perfect accurate piecing and pressing. There are imperfections, but once I "square them up" they it all look so good.  I am very happy with them.  I haven't done many mini quilts.  I want to do more.

These are House blocks one, two and three.

Still raining, so I guess I better get back to blocks four and five. Then I will be caught up.  Check out this fellow Texan at her blog, Pretty Little Quilts.  She designed the fantastic Texas Road Trip QAL that I definitely will be doing one of these days.

Thanks for stopping by.
